Finding a movie on 9kMovies by any name, in any script

How the search reads English titles, transliterations and the original script, what the filters do, and how the language shelves and the year shelves fit in.

Any name works

The search box says Search here.. and it reads the English title, the transliterated one and the original script: Dhurandhar in Latin or Devanagari opens the same page; Coolie, Kalki and Pushpa find their films whatever the spelling; "the family man" and "family man" agree. Words like "watch", "online", "free", "hd", "download", "hindi dubbed" and "9kmovies" are stripped before the search runs, so a phrase pasted from a search engine finds the title rather than nothing.

Names, languages and years

Type an actor or a director and their titles line up; type a language, "malayalam", "punjabi", and the search narrows to that shelf; type a year and the year shelf opens. "9kmovies list" is the whole catalogue in one scroll: the A-Z list, and the search page adds type, genre, year, status, country, language and a minimum rating, with a sort by popularity, newest, rating or name.

Episodes

Add the episode, "mirzapur s3e5", and the results narrow to the series with that dated episode; the season page opens with the row highlighted. The seasons page explains the numbering.
