9kMovies on a smart TV, Fire TV, Android TV and by casting

How to open the site on a television, and why casting from the phone through the service's app is the route most people settle on.

The phone chooses, the television plays

Open the title on your phone, press Watch now, choose the service for your country, and cast from that service's app: Chromecast from Android, AirPlay from an iPhone, the built-in cast on Samsung and LG. The service sends the stream to the television directly, in HD, with its own audio menu for the Hindi track, and the phone becomes the remote with My List open in your hand.

Television browsers

Android TV, Google TV and Fire TV's Silk browser open the site directly and the language shelves work with the remote; Watch now opens the title in the service's TV app when it is installed, which every service on the list has. Apple TV has no browser, so AirPlay from an iPhone is the route there.

Subtitles at three metres

Every service's television app has a subtitle size setting; Large with a dark background box is the one to choose, and it is remembered per television. The subtitles and dubs page covers the tracks.
